“Shock and Awe (GTFO)” is about ego and hubris. Informed by the works of Dante and Milton, as well as intensely personal (and equally epic) topics such as Combat, PTSD, Death and Injury. My paintings are preposterous, large, and complex, made up of hundreds of layers of poured and thrown paint.
