Walls of the Ancestors, Elizabeth Quagliaroli, 2026, petrified wood and fossils, 12 x 12 in. / 30.48 x 30.48 cm.

Forged by time and shaped by the forces of nature, Walls of the Ancestors is a tribute to the ancient spirit of the Southwestern landscape. Each fragment of petrified wood carries a history reaching far beyond human memory, a reminder of this land where forests flourished, and time left stone.
