Mt. Taylor, (Tsoodzil) Blue Bead or Turquoise Mountain is one of four sacred mountains of the Navajo Nation. It is a dormant volcano, hence the title. In the paper-on-canvas medium, I use no paint. All the color in this work is in the paper.
