This piece conjures worth beyond beliefs of human exceptionalism. Two hominins in a nebula, in intimate acknowledgment of all chances needed for us all to exist. They wear ammonoid shells, like the ancient cephalopods growing each chamber as they age, mattering more than brain size or intelligence.
