Dirt, earth pigments, indian ink and oil pastel on paper

This artwork is an illustration of a part of a poem I wrote during my journey in North Africa. As I went back to Marrakesh, a local artist took me to a local hardware shop where I could buy the natural pigments I used on this piece. The dirt came from the Atlas Mountains.
