Busy and Sagacious Bees, Olga Lazareva Sama, 2026, acrylic on canvas, 12 x 12 in. / 30.48 x 30.48 cm.

This portrait reimagines Don Quixote as a timeless guardian of idealism. Beside him hovers a single bee as a quiet symbol of the "busy and sagacious bees" that, in Don Quixote, represent the harmony, industry, and abundance of the mythical Golden Age, when humanity lived in balance with nature.
