Carved from a paper birch burl, left to develop black spalting, this sculpture was shaped with chainsaws, chisels, burrs, and sandpaper. Rosewood spheres are inlaid, no dyes added, and hand-rubbed poly-oil highlights the wood’s natural character and dynamic patterns.
