Another Station, Susan Handwerker, 2023, glazed ceramic, 14 x 12 x 2 in. / 35.56 x 30.48 x 5.08 cm.

The figure presents as goddess-like with a metallic finish. She emerges from/is integral to a highly textured golden fabric which is supported in turn by a glimpse of a raised grid. This structure was inspired by the reliefs of the Stations of the Cross as displayed around the Pantheon in Rome.
